TinkerBelle
by Ted L Glines

Fantasia's loving dollhouse dream
a Disney singing magic scheme
with Tinkerbell and Mickey Mouse
alive on walls of her small house
and on the bed - what do you think
sheets and spread with pics of Tink
her funhouse sunhouse full of glee
with Pooh and Rocky playing free
her place of haven from the ills
of those who'd spoil her happy frills
and Rocky plays with merry glee
while Pooh sits still upon her knee
while sparkling music boxes wink
amid the faery dust of Tink
and all around her magic house
weaves sorcery of Mickey Mouse
her Disney world of living laughter
lives on brightly - ever after.

Author's Notes: Written especially  for Patty - as a cameo of who she is, my favorite witch, for there are elements in this poem which pertain less to Disney and more to her own history and life. Here, there be magick.

Transit
by Ted L Glines

Spirits pass
Like phantoms in the night
Being what they've been and what they are
In their own measure of what is right.

You'll know what they've been
And somewhat of what they are,
Becoming what they will be
As they navigate their path
Toward some fate -- away and far.

And you will try to guide them,
Hug them, stand beside them,
But so soon they're gone away
On their path -- they could not stay.

And you will always wonder,
Did they find their brighter day?

We hope they did.
We always hope
They did.

Throne Song
by Ted L  Glines

In  our life of smiles and tears,
Though we struggle  through the  years,
And sometimes feeling lost and all alone,
There's a  place that we can go
And someone dear who loves us so
When  we take those  troubles to His golden throne.

(chorus)
Raise  our voices - praise the day
Lift  up the song we sing today,
Our  hearts are open wide
To baby  Jesus,
Inviting our sweet Lord  to come inside.

When a friend is hurt and sad
We want to  help them  oh so bad
And all we know to do is cry and moan,
There's  a place that we  can go
And someone dear who loves us so
When  we take those troubles to His  golden throne.

(chorus)
Raise  our voices - praise the day
Lift  up the song we sing today,
Our  hearts are open wide
To baby  Jesus,
Inviting our sweet Lord  to come inside.

When politics and presidents
Seem so bad  and devil  sent,
No aid for us on either fax or phone,
There's  a place that we can  go
And someone dear who loves us so
When  we take those troubles to His  golden throne.

(chorus)
Raise  our voices - praise the day
Lift  up the song we sing today,
Our  hearts are open wide
To baby  Jesus,
Inviting our sweet Lord  to come inside.

May our soldiers overseas
Join us praying  on our  knees,
The glory of our Lord is fully known,
There's  a place that we can  go
And someone dear who loves us so
When  we take those troubles to His  golden throne.

(chorus)
Raise  our voices - praise the day
Lift  up the song we sing today,
Our  hearts are open wide
To baby  Jesus,
Inviting our sweet Lord  to come inside.

We can sing and we can pray
With splendid  gifts on  Christmas Day,
But there's a sign we see when we have  fully grown,
There's  a place we always go
And someone dear  who loves us so
When we take those  glories to His golden throne.

(chorus)
Raise  our voices - praise the day
Lift  up the song we sing today,
Our  hearts are open wide
To baby  Jesus,
Inviting our sweet Lord  to come inside.
